1 vote = 2 million viewers in primetime
1 vote = 1 million viewers in late night ------------------------ Winners: (keeping in mind the lowered expectations) Reality Update (PIFN); Senior Year (MBN); Sports World (MBN; 10:00); Survivor's Revisited (PIFN) Losers: Celebrity Guess Who? (PIFN); Sports World (MBN; 9:00) PIFN 8:00 - Survivor's Revisited (season finale) - 6.50 million --last week: 4.4 million-- 9:00 - Reality Update (season finale) - 6.50 million --last week: 4.4 million-- 10:00 - Celebrity Guess Who? (series finale) - 4.33 million --last week: 4.4 million-- PIFN Late Night 11:00 - Rosie's Roundtable (season finale) - 1.17 million 11:30 - Rock the Night (season finale) - 2.33 million On the last night of the season, PIFN went out with improved ratings from 8-10 p.m. Both SURVIVOR'S REVISITED and REALITY UPDATE increased by more than 2 million viewers from last week, with both either tying or winning their time slots. CELEBRITY GUESS WHO? dropped the ball for the network at 10:00 p.m. Although GUESS WHO? was consistent with the numbers from last week, it fell behind its MBN competition in the time period. In late night, PIFN went out with a whimper and nothing much to brag about. ROSIE'S ROUNDTABLE, faltering of late, closed with just over 1 million viewers, falling to a repeat - yes, a repeat - of SAY WHAT?! on MBN. ROCK THE NIGHT does get points for more than doubling its ROSIE'S lead-in, but it too was more than doubled up by MBN's competing Matthew Perry talker. ------------------------- MBN 8:00 - Senior Year (season finale) - 6.50 million --last week: 6.6 million-- 9:00 - Sports World (season finale; 2-hr. avg.) - 6.50 million --last week (10:00): 4.4 million-- MBN Late Night 11:00 - Say What?! (repeat) - 4.67 million 11:30 - Goodnight with Matthew Perry (season finale) - 4.67 million Like PIFN, MBN was largely consistent with last Friday. The season finale of SENIOR YEAR (which is returning next year) posted nearly identical numbers while the two-hour season finale of SPORTS WORLD enabled the net to squeak by PIFN for the night by about 750,000 viewers. While SPORTS started off slow at 9:00 p.m. with only 4.33 million viewers, the 10:00 p.m. hour was the standout for the night, jumping up to 8.67 million viewers. Late night was also consistent, with both SAY WHAT?! (a repeat) and GOODNIGHT WITH MATTHEW PERRY, featuring the Rolling Stones rocking out, both pulled in 4.7 million viewers. I don't know why, but SAY WHAT?!, which was never spectacular in primetime, has simply owned ROSIE'S ROUNDTABLE in the closing weeks of this season. -------------------------- Network Averages Primetime PIFN - 5.78 million (second place) MBN - 6.50 million (first place) Late Night PIFN - 1.75 million (second place) MBN - 4.67 million (first place) Last edited by jay; 06-07-2010 at 12:47 AM. |
