MBN Weekly Schedules: Week of April 19, 2010
Monday, April 19 8:00 - Temps [Episode 1-02] NEW! "Bye, Bye, Birdie" GlomCo is going to the dogs…and cats, and weasels, and birds. It’s national Take Your Pet to work day and the temps must spend the day avoiding various pets, from dogs to ferrets to birds, even a pot-bellied pig. The visiting bird belongs to Ross and Teddy is given the unfortunate task of caring for the feathered pest (Ross the Boss has a company to run and can’t be bothered with a bird he never really liked anyway). Things only go from bad to worse for Teddy as the bird gets out of his cage and he enlists his fellow temps on a search for the animal that takes them all over the building. Meanwhile, sexpot Angie is smitten with the EMT paramedic who is giving free courses in CPR to company employees. She is only too eager to volunteer for mouth-to-mouth from the hunky lifesaver. When the groups search for Ross’s bird proves fruitless, Teddy decides to suck it up and tell his boss that he “lost” the bird, only to find it has returned to its cage. 8:30 - In the '80s [Episode 1-01] REPEAT "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" Pat fainted in the year 1984 and now twenty-five years later he has woken up, while the world is living in 2009 Pat (Jim Breuer) is still living like it is 1984, he doesn't know technology, loves his 80s music and has barely aged. It has been twenty-five years since Pat fainted at the age of twenty. Now forty-five he finally awakes from his coma. While his body has aged, he has not. Pat is still living like he is twenty in 1984 when in fact he is 45 in 2009. When he wakes up there is nobody around as the hospital staff has left him alone and his family forgot about it, but he is back and living in 1984! 9:00 - Educating Lewis [Episode 1-12] ***MBN Premiere Episode*** NEW! "No Child Left Behind" Lewis Tanner (Lewis Black) has only been principal at William Henry Harrison High School since September, but he already has the school board breathing down his neck when its learned that Harrison High is close to failing its "No Child Left Behind" goals, which could cost the school much needed federal dollars. In response, the school board decides to hire Mona Classen (new cast member Annie Potts) to be Principal Tanner's new assistant principal and help him whip Harrison High back into shape. Lewis and the more business minded Mona - she teaches economics, after all - clash almost immediately. What's worse is that Lewis had a secret crush on Mona during their time in school, even though she doesn't remember him (he even drags out an old high school yearbook to prove to Mona that they were indeed classmates). The two are forced to come together for the good of the school after spending most of their first day locked in a supply closet. 9:30 - In the '80s [Episode 1-02] NEW! "I Just Called to Say I Love You" Before checking out of the hospital Pat’s mother calls, surprised at the news of her son, she wants to express her love. 10:00 - Getting Some [Episode 1-03] REPEAT "Legs and Thighs" "I know nothing about sex, because I was always married." Jerry drives a long the freeway, car speeding up, Natalia sitting next to him. What was he doing? Call it crazy, call it love, call it hormones but he just didn’t care about this girls flaws, and I’m not referring to her chubby thighs, which would usually be the biggest issue any man would have to deal with. He was heading off into the sunset with a murderer and all he could think about was did he pack enough condoms. Ben recruits the help of Beth to move on from Jesse and so Beth sets Ben up with her friend Melissa. "I’ve never been on an afternoon date before," she told Ben as they ate their spaghetti. "You’ve never been on a Ben date then. Forget sex before marriage, my only rule, no sex before dinner." Melissa laughed. Ben, putting too much on his fork and missing his mouth completely, "God these balls are big." (He went for the cheap laugh, so what?) Beth is looking for her dad and finds Graham in his house. Graham had also shown up looking for Jerry, failing to find him he turns on television X, grabs a box of 'man size' tissues and made himself at home. "Hey," Graham said as Beth entered. "Is my dad here?" she asked, unphased by the naked women dancing on the television and the dozen scrunched up tissues on the floor. "You got a cold?" She joked. "I guess you could say I’m sick." He replied, humor in his voice. "Your dad’s not here," Graham continued. "Alright," said Beth, "I’m just going to use the bathroom." As she exited the bathroom Graham hands her a beer. "No thanks," she says. "Just one won’t hurt," he tells her. She grabs the beer and downs it, mistake number 1, never accept a drink from a stranger and just because you think you know someone, doesn’t mean they aren’t a stranger. Jerry and Natalia make love in the back of the car on the side of the road. Jerry hops out to go to the trunk to get snacks, while searching for the snacks he finds a ton of heroin and week stashed behind the chocolate chip cookies. He continues to check the trunk; he finds a whip and a taser, either Natalia planned for extremely kinky sex or she’s running a drug ring and isn’t scared to hurt about standing in her way. What has Jerry gotten himself in for? An hour has passed and Beth is passed out on the sofa and Graham is just cleaning himself up. He lifts Beth and carries her to an alley 3 blocks away from Jerry’s house and leaves her there returning to Jerry’s place, smirking. Ben and Melissa make it back to her place and as she hops onto the bed her artificial leg falls off. Ben looks at the leg as Melissa tries to pull him on top of her. Is he really that superficial? "I have to go," he panics. I guess he is… Cassandra arrives at Jerry’s place, looking for her daughter but finding Graham. "Is Beth here?" I’ve been here all day and she hasn’t been here at all,” he lied, smiling. "Can I get you a drink Cassandra?" He offers. "Sure." She replies. Graham mixes and hands her a drink, you can probably fill in the blanks, because come morning, Cassandra’s going to be left doing the same thing. Tuesday, April 20 8:00 - High School Superstars! [Episode 1-23] NEW! "Performance Show #7" Judges David Foster, Paula Abdul, and Jesse McCartney have chosen 22 acts from various high schools across the United States and are in Orlando, Florida with host Joey Lawrence. 12 acts remain (ten having been eliminated by voters; two extra have joined by online vote), tonight 6 remaining acts - 3 men and 3 women - perform. The two performers who have the lowest vote totals from online voting will be eliminated on Friday's live results show. 9:00 - Falling With Style [Episode 1-19] NEW! "April 22" Professor Harper is giving a lecture on control theory. He states “You’ve got a desired outcome that you want to be at. This is true in engineering, and this is true in life. How can you get there? What’s it going to take to get to where you need to be? In the world of engineering, there’s a thing we call the controller. It manipulates the inputs to obtain a desired effect on the output of the system. This is the reference, in life this is your goal. It’s all about how dynamic systems work, how we interact with the world around us, and to what extent we can control where our path is heading. As I’ve said to you all before, there’s not one topic in engineering that can’t be related to your life, and control theory is no different. That’s it for today’s session. There will be no Thursday session this week, so we’ll pick up where we left off next week.” Michael and Ashley gather up their books and head outside. Michael says “I can’t believe Professor Harper canceled class. He’s always at least twenty minutes early and absolutely loves what he’s doing. I wonder what the deal is.” Ashley replies “From what I’ve heard, he takes this specific day off every year but no one has ever been able to figure out why. There’s lots of crazy stories and guesses people have made over the years, but no one knows the reason for sure.” Michael replies “That’s so weird, I wonder if anyone has ever just asked him.” Ashley replies “Good question, I doubt anyone ever has. He seems like he’d be pretty unapproachable on any type of potential personal issues.” Michael nods his head and he and Ashley continue walking. Jimmy Cooper and Jennifer Ward are working on a class assignment together at Jennifer’s house. Jennifer asks “Okay, so you’ve been holding out on me. How did things go with Ariel on Friday night?” Jimmy replies “They went really well, we got to go up on stage and everything. Michael set the whole thing up and he didn’t even let me in on it. He really is something else.” Jennifer replies “That’s all great, but I wanna hear all the juicy details! Sorry for being so nosy, but I’m a girl, I can’t help it! I’d ask Ariel, but I think she’s probably way too shy to tell me anything, so I’ve gotta get the news from you. It’s not every day that love is in the air at Kramllah.” Jimmy replies “Well there’s really no juicy details to give out. We had a really great time, and we will leave it at that Ms. Nosy.” Jimmy flashes Jennifer a smile and Jennifer replies “Fine, I guess I’ll have to get all the info from Ariel!” Jennifer and Jimmy both share a good laugh as they continue working on their homework. There’s a knock at the door at Professor Harper’s office and Professor Harper replies “come in.” Michael walks in and asks Professor Harper if he has a second to talk. Professor Harper replies “Sure, what’s on your mind? Hopefully you haven’t been too busy playing catch-up for the week you missed.” Michael replies “I’ve gotten a lot of help from Ashley with that thankfully, so it hasn’t been too bad. I was actually stopping by not to talk about me, but actually to talk about you. There’s a lot of wild stories going around campus as to why you always take April 22nd off every year, and I’m wondering if you’re even aware of it and if you’d like a chance to set the records straight and put an end to all the crazy stories going around.” Professor Harper turns to Michael and replies “I’m aware of the stories Michael, people will always search for the answer that cannot be found. I don’t mind the tales that are out there floating around. I know the true reason, and that’s more than sufficient enough for me.” Michael replies “But wouldn’t you rather just set everyone straight and end the discussion. I’m sure people are making a much bigger deal out if it than they should be, don’t you think it’s best just to squash the rumors?” Professor Harper pauses before replying “Mr. Bailey, you are always welcome in my office if it relates to school work, or even in some cases, personal issues that you may be having. When it comes to issues that are personal to me though, that type of subject matter is off limits. So if you don’t have anything else to discuss with me, you really should be on your way, I have lots of work to get through.” Michael nods his head slowly before getting up and leaving without saying a word as Professor Harper keeps working on the paperwork at his desk. Michael is putting away boxes at Kramllah when Jimmy approaches him and asks “Hey Michael, I know I’ve thanked you like ten times already, but I just wanna let you know again how much I appreciated what you did for me the other night. Ariel had such an amazing time, and it really is all thanks to you.” Michael replies “I think it has more to do with you, that girl really likes you man. Are you thinking of making this official?” Jimmy replies with a quizzical look “What do you mean by official?” Michael answers “Well, you know, do the whole girlfriend/boyfriend facebook status change thing.” Jimmy asks “Is that what constitutes a relationship nowadays?” Michael answers “Pretty much, it’s a sad world we live in, I know.” Jimmy replies “Well honestly, I do think we’d be really good together. I just have no idea how to go about asking a girl to be my girlfriend. I’ve never had a girlfriend. I mean, do you just ask them, hey do you wanna be my girlfriend?” Michael replies “Not exactly man, for the most part, words don’t seal the deal on the formation of a relationship. There’s gonna be a moment that you two share, and maybe it’ll be punctuated by a long kiss, maybe it won’t, but at that point, you’ll both know it, and words won’t even matter at that point, it’s a magical moment my friend.” Jimmy replies “Is that how it was with Ashley when you guys started dating again?” Michael pauses before replying “Honestly, if you find the right girl, it’s like that every time you see her, hear her voice, or even think of her. There’s nothing in the world that beats that feeling, once you’re lucky enough to feel it, you’ll know what I’m saying.” Michael and Ashley are relaxing watching some television together and Ashley notices that Michael is preoccupied and asks “What’s wrong hun?” Michael replies “Well I tried talking to Professor Harper about why he cancels class on April 22nd every year, I figured I’d give him the chance to just set the record straight and put an end to the rumors, and he basically shut down completely and told me to leave. It was really surprising, especially since I feel like he and I have built up a solid relationship over the course of the year. I’ve gone to him so many times for advice, school related or non-school related, and he’s always been a beacon of consistency for me who has opened my eyes up to things I wouldn’t have seen on my own. I just thought that he’d let me in, kinda makes me feel like maybe I’m no different to him than any of his other students.” Ashley grabs hold of Michael’s hand and replies “Don’t feel that way Michael, it’s just his defense mechanism. I’m sure he’s so used to shutting people out that it comes as second nature to him. If it really means a lot to you, confront him one more time about it, and tell him how you’re feeling. Don’t take no for an answer, because I’m sure in a lot of ways, he needs you just as much as you need him.” Michael nods his head and thinks about what Ashley just said. Jimmy and Ariel are walking together on North Avenue beach peering off onto Lake Michigan. Jimmy replies “I had no idea this beach was within walking distance of Kramllah.” Ariel replies with a playful laugh while looking at Jimmy’s pasty white skin “Why am I not surprised?” Jimmy and Ariel take a seat at a bench on the beach and look off into the distance as the sun starts to set over the ocean. Ariel places her head on Jimmy’s shoulder and Jimmy starts to feel the moment Michael was describing earlier. Ariel opens up the palms of her hands onto Jimmy’s lap and he places his hands in hers as the two stare silently off into the distance at the setting sun. Michael knocks on Professor Harper’s door once more. Professor Harper yells to come in and Michael finds Professor Harper moving quickly around his office putting things away and preparing to leave. Professor Harper asks “Mr. Bailey, I’ve got only a few minutes, what do you need?” Michael replies “Look, I know whatever the reason you cancel class is your personal business and you don’t have to explain it to any student on this campus. Honestly though, if you just think of me as another student, that really hurts Professor. I can count the people I’ve told in Chicago about my past on one hand, I’ve opened up to you over the past 8 months, and you’ve helped me in ways I cannot thank you enough for, and I feel like I finally have a chance to pay you back for all that advice and be there for you in a time of need, and you’re just unwilling to give me that chance. It’s not easy for me to tell people about how both of my parents passed away within a year of each other, I don’t enjoy doing it, but I feel like it’s the right thing to do if I ever wanna truly let someone in. All that I’m asking for Professor is that you let me in, and show me that this bond we’ve formed is stronger than the average student-teacher bond, and more importantly, give me a chance to be there for you the way you’ve been there for me.” Professor Harper pauses for a good amount of time before saying “Alright Mr. Bailey, follow me.” Michael follows silently behind Professor Harper who leads Michael to his car. They both hop in and drive silently for over an hour until Professor Harper finally reaches a cemetery and pulls over. Professor Harper grabs flowers from the back of his trunk and a red fire truck and begins walking towards a gravesite as Michael follows quietly behind. Professor Harper reaches his destination. The tombstone reads “Christine Harper January 16th, 1960- April 22nd, 1990 and Evan Harper March 23rd, 1988- April 22nd, 1990. A tear begins to fall down Michael’s face as Professor Harper breaks the silence “I was gonna get to it Saturday morning, first thing. I just had some papers to grade and some lesson plans to write, but first thing Saturday morning, I was gonna head up to the dealership and have them check out the brakes on my car. Money always seemed to be tight, we’d put off fixing things for as long as we could. I was just starting out as a professor and was drowning in student loans. After we had Evan, Christine quit her job as a nurse because she couldn’t stand the thought of having to leave him with a stranger. That’s when we had to drop down to one car because we couldn’t afford to pay the insurance on a second one. I was at a parent teacher conference that Friday night that ended around 7PM. When it finished up, I looked outside but I didn’t see Christine so I called the home phone.” Professor Harper is fighting back tears, and Michael has tears falling rapidly down his face. “She said she was running late and hadn’t gotten the chance to leave yet but was just about to head out the door. I told her to get here as quick as she could because I was really tired and wanted to get home as soon as possible. She apologized for being behind schedule, and told me how much she loved me. I rushed my way off the phone and I honestly can’t even remember if I told her that I loved her back. Well that was the last time I ever heard her voice.” Professor Harper pauses once again as more tears begin to stream down his face. He continues with a tremble in his voice “She was doing 50 heading up to a stoplight, and the light turned yellow, she went to hit the brakes but they failed completely and she was hit head on by a Semi that was clearing the intersection making a left turn.” Professor Harper bursts into tears and tries to continue “She was rushing because of me, and on that day, I lost the two loves of my life, I lost my entire world. On that day, Thomas Harper died, and I’ve been a shell of the man I once was ever since. I come to this gravesite every year on the day before the anniversary of their deaths, because on April 21, 1990, my world hadn’t ended yet. I don’t work on April 22nd because I know there’s no way I’d make it through the day without breaking down completely. Twenty years later and it still breaks my heart every time I think of what happened on April 22nd. I bring these Poinsettias for my wife because they were her absolute favorite. Her garden was filled with them, vibrant and beautiful, just like she was.” Professor Harper really starts to break down at this point but attempts to continue “And for my son, he was the most amazing little guy. We couldn’t afford to buy him nearly as many toys as we wanted to, so he only had a few, but he never complained or asked for more. He had a little red fire truck that was his absolute favorite; he played with it so much that the little plastic wheels were almost completely worn down. Buying these fire trucks every year brings back the memory of the glowing look on his face when I gave him that first one, and for one split second, I can feel like he’s here with me again.” Michael has tears streaming down his face and Professor Harper breaks down crying at this point. Michael taps Professor Harper on the shoulder and opens his arms, and the two share a heartfelt embrace. No further words are spoken as the scene fades to black and the credits start to roll. 10:00 - Getting Some [Episode 1-04] ***special night*** REPEAT "To Be a Man" "Sudden acquaintance brings repentance." Jack is invited to his first boy/girl party tonight and is being forced to go by his mother, who obviously believes your never too young to lose your innocence. Jack sits on his bed, 5 hours before the party, not worrying about how he might look on the dance floor or what he’ll wear or what people will think of him. Jack was concerned about the fact it was a boy/girl party and the simple fact is, he had no idea which one he was going for. Jerry has spent the last week in a hotel in Texas with this mysterious mistress of his. Exact numbers are blurry but let’s just say Charlie Sheen would be impressed at the rate these 2 are going. Natalia is asleep and Jerry decides it’s time to find a bit more about her. He opens her purse quietly and begins going through her thing, 3 ID cards, all with different names. She has just short of a dozen credit cards, each with a different name. She stashed drugs, knives, guns, ammunition and a packet of mint gum in her purse. Jerry was beginning to become concerned. "Jerry..." Natalia spoke softly. Jerry was scared, had she seen him? "Yes?" He answered. "You see that gun you just had in your hand?" Jerry’s mind went blank for a moment; he finally found the courage to reply. "Yeah..." Natalia looked at him smiling, "I want you to kill me with it." Ben sits by himself in a bar, using his fake ID and charm to get served. A well built, tanned, shirtless guy sits down next to him. "You need a shirt to get served here?" He asked. "Not when you have abs like that," Ben replied, only realizing how gay it sounded afterwards. "I’m Bill," said, well, Bill. "Ben," he introduced himself with a handshake. "I know," Bill replied, before ordering a, "Pint of beer, any kind." Ben looked at Bill, "How do you know who I am?" he asked. After a long pause Bill finally says, "Because, you were dating my wife." At the hotel room Natalia hands Jerry the gun, he drops it on the floor, she picks it up, "Kill me or I’ll kill you," she threatened. Jerry cocks the gun and points it at Natalia, and then he whispers, "I love you." Then pulls the trigger, nothing happens. Natalia smiles, then laughs, then says "Just joking." Jack sat alone drinking a root beer at the party, some crap Lady GaGa song was blasting, I guess the fact he wasn’t on the dance floor while this song was playing was 1 point to the straight team. An 11 year old boy, Martin, sits down next to Jack. "Nobody puts baby in the corner," Max said. Jack looked at Martin, "You want to dance?" he asked. Martin shook his head, "Want to just go upstairs?" Martin asked. Ben shook his head, then said "You want to tell me your name first?" Alicia wants to believe Kate, but she knows everyone is doing too much to help the relationship. Alicia forgives Kate for the kiss, and then tells her she had nothing to do with the break up. The next day, Alicia goes to Robert’s dorm to talk to him. Robert answers the door and is thrilled to see Alicia standing there. He rushes to give her a hug, but Alicia stops him in his tracks. Robert asks why she stopped the hug, and simply says, “people will see us.” Robert then lets Alicia into his dorm room. Alicia sits down and tells Robert that she must end the relationship. As much as she loves Robert, she is risking too much for him and his friends. Robert breathes a sigh of relief and tells Alicia he was thinking the same thing after rethinking the previous night’s events. The two hug and go their separate ways. 9:30 - Being Average [Episode 1-18] NEW! "The Not So Sweet Sixteen Permit" It’s every teenage girls dream, their sweet sixteen. Lisa tells Emily to tone down her party as they can’t afford to have everything Emily wants. Emily hesitates at first, but then agrees to have the party at their house. Emily finishes up with invitations, and plans to hand them out to all her friends at school on Monday. The next day, Emily starts handing out her invitations when people start telling her they will not be able to come. Emily is perplexed and asks why they know they won’t be able to come. Most of the girls tell Emily that they have already been invited to another sweet sixteen. Emily tells them it’s okay, and goes into the bathroom and cries. When Emily arrives home, she tells her mom about the girls going to another sweet sixteen. Lisa suggests that Emily move her sweet sixteen to the following day so all her friends can come. Emily slaps herself for not thinking of the idea first. When Emily goes to school the next day, she tells all of her friends that the party has been moved to the next day. All her friends are happy that the date has changed, and inform Emily that they will be able to come now. Emily is thrilled and cannot wait for her birthday to come! The day of the party arrives, and Emily is excited. David, knowing that Emily is now 16 and is eligible to get her permit, suggests that he take her to get her permit. Emily agrees, and the two head to the DMV to get her permit. Emily has studied for weeks to get her permit, and loves the thought of being able to drive in a few minutes! Emily begins the permit test and answers the first six questions correctly. Emily then misses the next two, but knows it’s not a big deal since you can miss three, and still pass. Then the next question comes onto the screen, and Emily doesn’t know the answer. She guesses C and misses the question. Emily is devastated that she failed an easy permit test and will not be able to drive today after all. Emily knows the day will only get better as she has her sweet sixteen party to look forward to tonight. It’s 8pm, and Emily’s friends begin to show up for the party. Emily knows this is the day that the boy she likes, Nick, will finally talk to her! Emily asks her friend Laura to set her up with Nick. Laura agrees, and goes over to talk to him. Emily is excited and can’t wait to talk to Nick. When Emily looks over, she sees Laura kissing Nick and starts to cry. Emily walks over to Laura and slaps her across the face. She starts yelling at Laura for going against her wishes and kissing Nick even though she likes him. Nick looks at Emily and says, “You like me?” Emily looks at him and says, “Well yes, why?” The boy turns to Emily, kisses her and says, “Funny, I like you too.” Emily smiles and kisses Nick back. Emily and Nick start to dance together as a slow song comes on. Even though the day started out bad, and got only worse, it finished with a bang. 10:00 - Dynasty [Episode 1-19] NEW! "Family Dysfunction" Previously on DYNASTY...Alexis and Governor Robertson plot against Krystle...Regina, who is holding Jeff Colby hostage, begins to lose touch with reality...B.J. and Sydney attempt to cover-up their misdeeds, but are interrupted by Lauren and Keifer...Daniel lies to Genny about why he is marrying her...Krystina awakens from her coma, but appears to have amnesia...Adam Carrington tracks down Regina. Their conversation is cut short when Krystle gets a phone call from the hospital: her daughter, Krystina, is awake from her coma. Krystle leaves immediately for the hospital. At his brother Matt's apartment, Keifer demands to know what B.J. and Sydney are doing there. Sydney struggles to come up with an alibi, so B.J. jumps forward and tells Keifer that he was looking for his sister, Lauren. B.J. says he thought she might still be involved with Keifer - whom he regards as a bad influence - and went looking for her. Keifer isn't buying it, and Lauren blasts her brother for treating her like a little girl instead of a grown woman who can make her own decisions. B.J. scoffs as the notion of Lauren being an adult capable of making rational decisions and brings up the fact that Krystina is fighting for her life because of Lauren's "good" judgment. Keifer takes offense to B.J.'s attitude and tells both him and Sydney to leave. When Keifer attempts to forcibly remove B.J., he attacks Keifer by punching him and continues to do so even after Keifer collapses on the floor. A hysterical Lauren tries to pull B.J. away, but when that fails threatens to call the police. Finally, B.J. and Sydney leave, while Lauren tends to a bloodied Keifer. At the mountain cabin, Regina is shocked to see Adam standing outside the door. He forces himself in and looks around the largely deserted cabin. He spots Jeff tied up and asleep in a bedroom. Adam shuts the bedroom door so that Jeff cannot see him and he proceeds to lash out at Regina. Adam lambasts her for taking their plan too far. He tells Regina that kidnapping and ransom was not in the game plan. Regina's mother (guest star Gena Rowlands) - actually a ghost only Regina can see - stands behind Adam, agreeing with everything he has to say about her "screw-up daughter". At the hospital, Krystle's joy at Krystina being awake turns to more concern when doctors tell her that her daughter has amnesia. Not able to believe it, Krystle enters her daughter's hospital room, but becomes disheartened when Krystina has no idea who Krystle is. B.J. and Sydney arrive back at the Carrington mansion and B.J. consoles his mother Fallon, who fears that the family is falling apart. Sydney follows B.J.'s lead, but Fallon brushes her aside and remarks that "you aren't even family", which angers B.J. Fallon lectures B.J. that the last thing the family needs is another "two bit slut looking to leech onto us for our money." Just as Fallon and B.J. begin to argue, the doorbell rings and a uniformed police officer is escorted into the study by the butler. Fallon asks the officer is his visit has to do with news about Jeff, but is quickly embarrassed to learn that the officer is there to arrest B.J. for assault and battery against Keifer. Fallon watches in disgust as B.J. is led out of the mansion in handcuffs, while shooting a disapproving glance towards Sydney. Regina has taken all the insults from Adam that she can handle. When Adam turns his back to her, she pulls out a gun and points it at a shocked Adam. He lunges forward to try to take the gun away and the two fall on the floor as the gun goes off. Kyle and Jane have been dating for 2 months now, while Beth is the jealous third wheel. Kyle leaves to go on a date with Jane so Rachel drinks alone into the early hours of the morning. Rachel shows up at Kyle’s house at 2 in the morning and waits for him to arrive home. Beth meanwhile is suffering from insomnia and goes for a walk around campus in the dark, she drops her phone and as she bends down to pick it up a car hits her. Kyle finally shows up with Jane on his arm. Jane goes inside and Rachel tells Kyle she wants him, Kyle sits down and sighs. Kyle: “You know I waited for so long for you to finally love me back. I feel like I spent my life waiting for you.” Rachel: “Well I’ve finally arrived.” Kyle: “But you missed my departure.” Rachel: “You’ve waited for so long for me, why couldn’t you wait 1 more day, 1 hour longer?” Kyle: “Because it won’t be 1 day or 1 hour, you will never know what you want Rachel. You will never be here. You will never be mine.” Kyle goes inside and snuggles next to Jane on the sofa. Simon’s cell rings, hoping it’s Rachel he lets it ring for a moment then answers, it’s Beth, or at least the person who was driving the car that hit her. As the last person she called the driver decided to contact him first… Simon drops his cell and grabs his stuff, including a blank piece of paper and a pen. Simon sits at the airport as Rachel reaches the hotel, the receptionist has a note to give her, it reads ‘I thought I knew what love could conquer, apparently we were too much.” And so Beth arrives at the window, watching them cuddle and Simon boards his flight, not crying over the relationship he’s losing but over Beth, the relationship he wants to begin and Rachel arrives home and cries to her mom, because she has no one and it’s her own fault. 10:00 - House Rules [Episode 1-09] NEW! "What Goes Around Comes Around" Jimmy Cooper drives up to Michael’s apartment as Michael comes down dressed in his Kramllah attire. As soon as Michael hops in, he extends his hand out to Jimmy and says “Congratulations my friend.” Jimmy shakes Michael’s hand and says “You saw it on facebook I’m guessing?” Michael nods his head and smiles before saying “So how did it happen man? Hit me up with all the details.” Jimmy replies with a smile “Well it was actually just like you said man. We were down by North Avenue beach watching the sunset on Lake Michigan and it was just one of those amazing moments where two people know exactly what the other is thinking without saying a word. It was amazing man.” Michael smiles and replies “That’s awesome to hear, you deserve this man, don’t ever think differently.” Jimmy replies “Thanks Michael, I couldn’t have done it without you.” Michael answers “Well I disagree with you there, but I’m glad to have helped in any way. Too bad we’ve got a long day of work ahead of us, nothing like spending an entire Saturday at Kramllah.” Jimmy replies “I can’t think of any better way to kill a weekend.” Michael and Jimmy share a laugh as they continue on the road to Kramllah. As the store comes within view, Michael and Jimmy notice several police squad cars outside the store. Jimmy and Michael also notice that the front door is smashed open and quickly hop out of Jimmy’s car and head inside. Michael and Jimmy walk into the store and notice Pierre talking with the police officers. Pierre is visibly upset and looks to be on the verge of a breakdown. Jennifer Ward walks up to Jimmy and Michael and begins to tell them the story of what happened. Jennifer starts “Well I guess Pierre got in early this morning and saw that the front door was smashed in. He immediately called the police before heading in because I guess he was worried the thieves might still be in the building. After the police came and assured him that no one was in the store, Pierre went in with the officers to identify all the things that were missing. Well as you can tell, they took both of the cashier computers and monitors, but that’s just a drop in the bucket compared to what they took from the safe. I closed the safe down last night and there was close to $17,000 in there. When Pierre went into the cash office this morning, the safe was broken into and all the cash was gone.” Michael replies “Oh wow, that is absolutely terrible, no wonder he’s over there completely freaking out.” Jimmy asks “But he has insurance right? Insurance should cover this kind of thing right?” Michael replies “At best, it will cover the equipment stolen, and he’ll probably get a fraction of the cost. As far as the cash that’s gone, its almost impossible to prove how much was taken, so I doubt he’ll be able to get any of that back from insurance.” Jimmy replies “Well that totally sucks. I’m not the biggest fan of Pierre’s, but I feel pretty bad for him right now.” Michael replies “I gotta agree with you there.” Michael, Jimmy and Jennifer start cleaning the glass up by the front door as the police officers begin filing out of the store. A visibly shaken Pierre pages everyone over the intercom “Please everyone, come up front to what used to be the front registers.” All of the associates come up front and a dejected Pierre begins “As you may have heard and seen, the store was broken into last night, the registers were stolen, but more importantly, there was a large sum of money taken out of the safe. Unfortunately, it looks like the insurance policy I have will only cover the broken door and the stolen registers, and as a result, I will not have enough to cover the monthly rental payment for the store. As of right now, I’ve decided to close Kramllah and head back to my hometown in France. I plan on selling back the remaining inventory to the suppliers and will use that money to pay your final paychecks. I’m sorry for the bad news, and I appreciate the work you’ve all done for me over the years. I wish there was another way, but without that money, I have no chance of keeping this store running. If you want to stay and help clean up, you’re free to, if not, you can stop by later in the week for your last check.” Pierre ends the meeting and walks back towards his office. Jimmy looks to Michael and Jennifer and says “Wow, what a day.” Jennifer replies “Poor Pierre.” Michael shakes his head and says “I know I’ve only been working here for eight months, but I can’t imagine this store closing and all of us not getting to work with each other anymore.” Jennifer replies “I know what you mean Michael, this is depressing.” Michael and Ashley are sitting together on campus and Ashley is helping Michael look through the classified ads. Ashley says “I can’t believe the store got broken into like that, I know he’s a jerk 99.9% of the time, but I really do feel bad for your boss Pierre.” Michael replies “I do too Ash, I wish there was something I could do, but Pierre needs to recoup pretty much all of that money to keep the store in business. I guess he fell a bit behind on the mortgage payments and was saving up the cash in the safe to pay it off in one big chunk. The guy doesn’t believe in banks I guess. Man did it backfire.” Ashley answers “Well isn’t there something we could try to do?” Michael replies “I’ve given it a lot of thought Ash, I don’t know how we can pull together $17,000 in two weeks time. I wish we could, but I just don’t see how it’s possible.” Ashley ponders for a second before replying “What about a fundraiser event. We can set up ads all around town telling the story of what happened and how we need to save the store. You know, throw a big bash at Kramllah and charge $20 a person.” Michael’s eyes widen and he replies “Well I think that’s an awesome idea Ash.” Ashley replies “Alright, let’s get started on this right now then. We’ve got a lot of work to do.” Michael replies “Let me call Jimmy, he can round up Jennifer and Ariel and we can have some backup with this.” Pierre is sitting in his office when Michael comes in and asks him how he’s doing. Pierre is extremely dejected and pauses from packing up his items to reply “This has been the worst week of my life. How does it look like I’m doing?” Michael answers “That’s completely understandable Pierre, but what if we came up with a way to get the money back.” Pierre replies “That’s impossible Michael, where am I going to get $17,000 dollars from?” Michael replies “Well, we’ve come up with a plan, we’ve kinda drawn it out all out here on this advertisement.” Pierre looks it over and says “Well I doubt it will work, but what do we have to lose?” A montage shows of Michael, Ashley, Ariel, Jimmy & Jennifer putting up ads all around town, talking to people about what happened at Kramllah. Michael, Ashley, Ariel, Jimmy and Jennifer finish putting the final touches on the store which is decorated and looks absolutely amazing. Pierre comes in and is taken a back by all the work everyone did to put the fundraising event together. Pierre gets slightly choked up and says “This is a bit much to take in. This means a lot to me, and no matter the result tonight, I’ll always remember you kids doing this for me.” Everyone gives Pierre a hug and Michael states “Alright, let’s get these doors opened so we can save the store.” Jimmy Cooper opens up the front door and people begin streaming in, passing their entry fee onto Jimmy as they enter the store. A live band begins playing and people start dancing and having a good time. A slow song starts and Ashley finds Michael and asks for a dance. Michael replies “That would be lovely Ms. Reed.” Michael and Ashley start dancing and Michael says “This was a great idea Ash, whether we hit our goal or not, it was an amazing effort.” Ashley replies “You did pretty well yourself Mr. Bailey, lining up the band to play and getting all those stores to donate all that food, you really came through.” Michael replies “Well I really hope it works out. Deep down, Pierre is a good guy, and I’d hate to see him lose his dream of owning his own store because of some thieves taking that away from him.” Michael and Ashley are interrupted by Jimmy Cooper who says “Guys, I just counted up all of the cash we brought in at the door. We’ve got a little over $12,000 so far, we’ve done really well but I don’t think we’re gonna be able to make it.” Michael replies “Well at least we gave it a shot Jimmy.” At this moment, Professor Harper walks in and says “You kids gave it more than a shot, this was really great what you did to save a local business. How much does the store need to stay open Michael?” Michael is surprised by Professor Harper’s entrance and says “We need $17,000 professor.” Professor Harper pulls out his checkbook and writes a check for $5,000 and hands it to Michael. Michael gives Professor Harper a big hug and Michael races to the stage to give the news to the crowd. Michael states “Hey everyone, we’ll get right back to the music, but I just wanted to pull Pierre up here, Pierre, where are you at?” Pierre heads up to the stage and stands next to Michael. Michael addresses the crowd “Thanks to the generosity of all of you, I’d like to present you Pierre with the total that we raised from this fundraiser. The numbers are in, and we were able to hit our goal of $17,000! Kramllah isn’t going anywhere!” The crowd erupts and Pierre gets extremely emotional as he accepts the envelope from Michael. He addresses the crowd and says “Thank you all for everything you’ve done. I came to America with very little, and today, I feel like the richest man on the planet.” The crowd erupts once more and the band begins to play. Pierre gives Michael a huge embrace and thanks him once more as the scene fades to black. 10:00 - Getting Some [Episode 1-05] ***new night*** NEW! How much longer do you think he’ll stay in nice Pierre mode before going back to his usual arrogant self?” Just as Jimmy says this, Pierre walks by and yells “Jamie, stop dragging those boxes on my beautifully buffed floor. What are you, some kind of idiot?” Pierre walks away and Jimmy replies “Looks like that answers my question.” Michael asks Jimmy “So, how are the prom preparations going?” Jimmy replies “Well we’ve still got some time to plan for it. We decided to go to my school’s prom only and not hers because she really doesn’t care for too many of the people at her school.” Michael replies “Well I think you two will have an amazing time.” Jimmy asks Michael “So how are things going with you, semester winding down, must feel pretty good to be finishing up your first full year at UC?” Michael replies “Yeah, it’s definitely been an amazing experience so far. Finals are coming up soon so I’ll be cramming majorly.” Jimmy replies “Yeah right, you know you’re gonna do fine. You’re the smartest guy I know.” Michael and Jimmy begin to open the new boxes and soon realize that the new shipment is for the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday. Michael pauses before grabbing for the cards to stock the shelves and Jimmy notices and says “hey man, I can stock these, just take a break or something bro and we’ll work on the next box.” Michael nods his head and heads to the break room. Jimmy is putting the greeting cards away when Jennifer approaches him. Jennifer says “Hey Jimmy, first things first, just wanted to let you know that because of all your help, I pulled off an A on that physics final. You saved my life pretty much, so thanks a ton. Second, I wanted to ask you if you and Ariel had a group to go with for prom?” Jimmy replies “Well, first things first, no need to thank me on the physics front, you took that test all by yourself, and I’m proud of you. And secondly, umm, I’ll have to talk with Ariel about it, I’m not sure about what her preferences are…” Jennifer interrupts “Well I actually just texted her about it, and she said she’d love to be with my group, so if it’s cool with you, I’d love to have you two join our group.” Jimmy is hesitant and replies “Well, I just don’t know…” Jennifer interrupts again “Look, if you’re worried about Taylor, I already talked it over with him, and he’s fine with it. I promise, there will be no issues, okay?” Jimmy replies “Alright, sounds good, so are we gonna just meet you guys there?” Jennifer replies “No silly, we’re getting a big party bus. We’ll pick you guys up, but we’ll talk more about it later, I gotta get back to the register before Pierre realizes I’ve been gone.” At this same moment, an angry Pierre pages over the intercom “Jennifer, to register thirteen, Now!” Jennifer looks at Jimmy and says “Too late I guess. I’ll talk to you later” before running back up front. Michael and Ashley are sitting in Professor Harper’s class. Professor Harper is going over what’s going to be on the final and is just wrapping things up. He dismisses the class, and Michael tells Ashley he’ll see her outside in a minute. Michael approaches Professor Harper and says “I just wanted to thank you again for making that donation to Pierre’s store. You definitely didn’t need to do that, but I really do appreciate it.” Professor Harper replies “Mr. Bailey, just consider it my way of saying thank you.” Michael is confused and asks “Thank you? What are you thanking me for?” Professor Harper replies “For as difficult as it was to deal with the loss of my wife and son, it’s been even more difficult keeping all my emotions inside all these years. You were there for me in ways that even my closest friends and family members haven’t been able to, and for that, I will always be grateful.” Michael shakes Professor Harper’s hand and says “Well thank you for everything as well. You’ve definitely been way more than just a professor to me over the course of these last nine months. The way the past year has been for me, coming to a new city where I didn’t know anybody at all, you’ve really helped guide me along the way, and I will always be grateful for that. I gotta say though, for every test we’ve had this year, you’ve basically scared the crap out of us beforehand. Why didn’t you give us all the “be scared out of your mind because this final will be ridiculous” speech?” Professor Harper smiles and says “I guess I just didn’t have it in me today. Hopefully everyone still realizes that it’s gonna be a ridiculously hard test even without the speech, and if not Mr. Bailey, you better start spreading the word.” Michael and Professor Harper share a laugh as they say their farewells and part ways. Michael is in his living room studying with the news channel playing on the TV in the background. The news anchor begins a piece on it being Mother’s Day and Michael quickly turns the tv off. The door buzzer rings and Michael gets up and says “I’ll be right down.” He heads downstairs and finds Ashley waiting for him. She asks him “Are you sure you’re okay with joining us for this?” Michael replies “It’s just lunch with your fam Ash, it’s no big deal.” Ashley replies “I know it’s gonna be extra hard for you this year Michael, and I’d understand if you didn’t want to go out with my family for Mother’s Day this year.” Michael replies “Ash, it’s fine, believe me. I’ll be fine.” Ashley and Michael drive up to a restaurant where they meet with Ashley’s brothers and Ashley’s parents. Mrs. Reed says “I’m so glad you boys were able to make it. How were your flights?” Ashley’s brother Jeff replies “The flights were fine. And of course we made it mom, no way we were gonna miss seeing you on Mother’s Day.” Ashley’s brothers and Ashley’s parents are laughing and having a good time while Ashley is attempting to mask her happiness out of understanding for Michael’s situation. Michael looks around the restaurant and notices that everyone there is celebrating Mother’s Day with their mom, most of the mothers having flowers or some other nice gifts at the table, and the happy faces are starting to take its toll on Michael. Nonetheless, he battles through the dinner and thanks The Reed’s for the invite before leaving with Ashley. When Ashley and Michael return back to Michael’s apartment, Michael tells her “I think I’m gonna call it an early night Ash.” Ashley replies “I understand, I’ll call you tomorrow morning babe. I love you Michael Bailey.” Michael replies “I love you too Ashley Reed.” Michael and Ashley share a goodnight kiss and Michael heads up to his apartment. Ashley watches as Michael heads upstairs and then slowly drives off. As she’s driving along, she gets a text message notification, and opens her phone to read the message. As she reads the message, she gasps with fear and loses control of her car as a result. She slams head-first into a traffic light pole and the airbags in her car activate and slam into her face. Michael pulls a photo album from under his bed and opens it up to a photo of him and his mother from last year’s Mother’s Day, just before she passed away. The scene morphs into a flashback and Michael is with his mother, attempting to take a picture of the two. Michael pulls out a card that says Happy Mother’s Day and says to his mother “You’re the best mom in the world, I love you so much.” Mrs. Bailey pulls Michael close and says “I’m far from it Michael, but I can tell you one thing, you are definitely the best son a mother could ask for.” Michael smiles and tells his mother “Well you just wait mom, we’re gonna have an amazing time in Chicago together, we’re gonna see every inch of that city.” Mrs. Bailey smiles and replies “It’s going to be wonderful Michael, I can’t wait.” Michael replies “Which brings me to your gift. I know we’re a few months away from moving out there, but I wanted to get you into the spirit of Chicago, so, to get you ready for the trip, I brought you some brand new luggage.” Michael pulls out from the closet beautiful floral luggage and his mother starts to cry. Michael tells her “Mom, there’s no reason to cry. Those old suitcases of yours needed to be put out of their misery. These new ones will do the trick just fine, I promise.” Mrs. Bailey tries to shake off the tears but is unable to. She looks to Michael and says “The luggage is absolutely beautiful Michael, but that’s not why I’m crying right now. Sit down with me son.” Michael sits down by his mother’s side and takes her hand. Mrs. Bailey continues “I met with my doctors today Michael. And the news isn’t good.” Michael replies frantically “What is it mom, whatever it is, we can tackle it head on, we’ll fight it mom, we can beat anything thrown our way.” Mrs. Bailey grabs on tight to her son’s hands “Michael, you know I’ll never stop fighting, and I’ll never give up... The doctors told me today that my body isn’t responding to the chemotherapy, and that the cancer is still spreading. They said there is nothing more they can do Michael.” Michael doesn’t want to believe this and replies “This doesn’t change anything mom, we’re gonna fight this and you’re gonna be ok. You’re gonna be ok mom. We’ll go see another doctor and get a second opinion. There’s gotta be something we can do to fight this.” Mrs. Bailey replies “Michael, I’m tired, I don’t wanna see any more doctors. These past two years, all I’ve done is see doctors, first with your father, and now with me. Michael, I don’t have the time for doctors anymore, I just wanna spend the time I have left with the people I love. Can you do me a favor Michael and take me for a ride? I wanna show you something.” Michael is fighting back tears and replies “But the doctors said you shouldn’t be…” Mrs. Bailey interrupts and says “Please son, I don’t care what the doctors say anymore. Let’s go for a ride.” Michael reluctantly gives in and helps his mother to the car. She instructs Michael to drive to a park in the middle of nowhere. They get out of the car and Michael helps walk her over to a park bench. Mrs. Bailey says “This is where your father and I met Michael. This used to be the busiest park in the county. He had just finished playing a game of softball with his friends when he spotted me sitting by myself waiting for a bus ride home. He pulled up next to me and asked why I was sitting all by myself. I told him I was waiting for a bus and offered me a ride. He was cute, and things were definitely different back in those days, so I accepted the offer. We got to talking during the car ride back and he just seemed like the sweetest guy I’d ever met. He finally worked up the courage to ask me on a date right before we got to my house, and I happily accepted. As crazy as it sounds, I knew that very moment that he was the one for me Michael. One car ride was all it took. Coming back here brings back some amazing memories son.” Michael replies “That’s a beautiful story mom.” Mrs. Bailey replies “The point is son, when you find that person who you just can’t live without, you know it. It may be something as short as a car ride, but when you find the person you know you’re going to spend the rest of your life with, deep down, you know it. I know that person for you Michael is Ashley, and I know she broke your heart and disappeared without any warning, but promise me one thing son. If your paths ever cross again, forgive her, for me.” Michael replies “But mom, we don’t even know why she left. How can I promise to forgive her without knowing the reason?” Mrs. Bailey interrupts “Just do it for me Michael, please, just forgive her.” Michael is hesitant and replies “Alright mom, I doubt I’ll ever see her again, but if I do, I promise, I’ll forgive her, but only for you.” Mrs. Bailey replies “That’s all I ask son.” Mrs. Bailey pauses before continuing “Just know this son, if I do pass, I lived an amazing life. I fell in love and married the most amazing man, and got to have the most amazing son. I had the chance to watch you grow up to be the gifted and talented man I see before me today. I love you with all of my heart Michael, and no matter what, I’ll always be with you.” Michael replies fighting back tears “I love you too mom, I love you too.” Michael and his mother begin crying as they share a long embrace on the park bench as the scene fades to black. 10:00 - Getting Some [Episode 1-06] NEW! B.J. and Sydney are ecstatic, but Fallon is less so. She lectures B.J. on his actions (assaulting Keifer), but he is defended by Sydney. Fed up with Sydney's interruptions, Fallon sternly tells her to "butt out of family business" and that this issue doesn't concern her. B.J. tells his mother that Sydney does matter, but his defense is cut short when Fallon tells B.J. to let Sydney bail him out and walks out of the room. Steven runs after her, but he is unable to talk her into bailing B.J. out, who will now have to spend the night in a jail cell. At the cabin, Regina struggles to get an unconscious Adam into the trunk of her car. Once the body is in the trunk, Regina begins to drive back to Denver. Once in Denver, she takes the car into the underground garage of Denver-Carrington and hauls Adam's body out of the trunk and deposits it in the garage before quickly leaving. Sydney greets him as he leaves the station and she apologizes for causing the fight from last night between B.J. and his mother, Fallon. She tells B.J. that Fallon is right; she is not a part of the family and shouldn't be butting her nose into family affairs. B.J. refuses to hear her talk like that and tells her "my mother is wrong, you are a part of this family". B.J. tells Sydney that this isn't how he envisioned proposing, but he drops onto one knee in the middle of the sidewalk and asks a dumbstruck Sydney to marry him. 10:00 - Dynasty [Episode 1-21] NEW! However, her dreams are dashed when her mother opens the door to Jeff’s room and it is empty. Jeff is crouched behind a bush outside, watching Regina’s reaction. At the hospital, doctors continue to operate to save Adam’s life while doctors question Krystina, who is beginning to remember the events leading up to the car accident with Lauren. Krystle (special guest star Linda Evans) arrives to see her daughter and is thrilled at the news that the doctors tell her. Daniel is furious at being put in such a situation and storms out of the apartment. B.J. and Sydney arrive at the Carrington Mansion and Fallon is not thrilled to see either one. Fallon insists that Sydney leave, but B.J. introduces her as his fiancé. Fallon is floored at the news, which only makes her more upset. "Reversal of Fortune" While taking a public bus to work, Teddy notices a man crying in the back and can help but think the guy looks like the recently fired Ross. To his surprise, it is Ross! It seems the newly poor Ross got on the bus - something he never used to have to do - and doesn't know where to get off, especially since his wife kicked him out. Teddy takes pity on his ex-boss and lets him crash at his apartment for a few days. The girls at the office cannot believe that Teddy would treat Ross so nice, especially given how crappy Ross had treated Teddy (even though Ross does tend to boss Teddy around at home, takes advantage of him, and basically treats him like the hired help). But, it isn't long before the new boss (guest star Fred Willard) starts to push people's buttons: he insults the looks of plain-jane Julie; he wonders aloud when Ivy is going to retire; and he dismisses the sexual advances of Angie, while winking and grinning at an uncomfortable Teddy! Soon, the temps have hatched a plan, something they thought they would never have to do: Operation Get Ross His Job Back! 8:30 - In the '80s [Episode 1-07] NEW! It seems that when they were in school, Lewis asked Mona to the prom, but she wouldn't even give him the time of day. Their entire evening is spent - perhaps subconsciously - trying to make the other one jealous. Mona dances and flirts with the hunky gym teacher, while Lewis uses the sexy French teacher as his dancing partner. Actually, the gym teacher and the French teacher are trying to make each other jealous as well, using Lewis and Mona. At the end of the night, when their dance partners leave to be with each other, Lewis and Mona are left to dance together. They end the night in the most unexpected way: a kiss. 9:30 - In the '80s [Episode 1-08] NEW! "Out of My Hands" Ashley is lying on a hospital bed hooked up to an IV with her eyes closed. Her head is bandaged and bruised and she finally wakes up and sees her parents and Michael sitting nearby. Michael jumps up and runs over to her “Ash, Ash can you hear me?” Ashley groggily replies “Michael? Where are we?” Michael replies “Ash, you were in a car accident. You lost control of your car and slammed into a light pole. A few bruises and some scratches, nothing to worry about, you’re gonna be fine.” Ashley begins to realize her surroundings and starts to jostle about “What? An accident? I don’t remember any accident Michael” she says frantically. Ashley’s mother rushes over and says “Ashley, its ok, the doctors said you might have temporary memory loss when you came to, and that you might not remember the moments right before the accident. It’s completely normal dear, nothing to be concerned with.” Ashley starts to calm down slightly and then asks “Oh my gosh, all I remember was dropping Michael off at home after dinner. Everything after that is a complete blank? So I just hit a light pole, no other people were involved in the crash?” Michael replies “Nope, just a light pole Ash. I do have one bit of bad news for you though. Your phone got crunched from the impact from the airbags, your LCD screen is completely cracked. We’ll have to get you a new one.” Mr. Reed steps in and says “I really hope you weren’t texting when this accident happened Ashley. That would be extremely irresponsible.” Mrs. Reed steps in and cuts off her husband “For goodness sake Daniel, leave the poor girl alone for now, she’s been through enough, and we have no idea what caused the accident. Let’s give Ashley and Michael some time to sit and relax together. We’ll be downstairs in the cafeteria honey, don’t you worry about anything.” Mrs. Reed grabs Mr. Reed by the arm and takes him out of the room, leaving Michael and Ashley alone. Michael grabs Ashley’s hand and says sweetly “We’re gonna have to revoke that license of yours Ms. Reed. You my dear, are accident prone.” Ashley replies “I have no idea how this could have happened Michael, I’ve never been in an accident before, I’m a good driver. Gosh, my dad seems so pissed right now.” Michael replies “I’m sure it was nothing more than you seeing a rabbit or some other animal and being the sweet girl you are, you tried to avoid hitting it and slammed into a light pole. Next time, just remember it’s either Bugs Bunny or you.” Ashley smiles and replies “You always know how to make me feel better Michael, even in the strangest of situations.” Michael gives Ashley a kiss on the forehead and says “That’s what I’m here for Ms. Reed. Now you just get some rest. You’ll be out of here in no time.” Michael is unloading boxes at Kramllah when Jimmy walks over and asks in a concerned tone “Hey Michael, how’s Ashley doing?” Michael replies “She’s doing much better, thanks. They’re gonna keep her for another night or two just to make sure she doesn’t have any lingering effects from the crash. They wanna run a few more tests, but it looks like she’s gonna be back to normal in no time.” Jimmy replies “well that’s definitely a relief man. I’m really glad to hear she’s gonna be ok.” Michael replies “Me too man, when I got the call from her folks that she had been in an accident and was at the hospital, I was a mess bro. I can’t tell you how good it felt to see her finally come to.” Jimmy replies “I can imagine man, I would have been a wreck too.” Michael replies “Well it’s all good now man, so no worries. How’s the last minute prom preparation going by the way, what is it, two days away?” Jimmy replies “Um, yeah, about that, there’s some stuff I’ve been meaning to talk to you about.” Michael replies “Alright, hit me with it man.” Jimmy continues “Well, first thing, apparently Jennifer and Ariel decided it would be best if we went with Jennifer’s group, so now I’ll be stuck on a party bus with pretty much every kid who has ever given me a swirly within the past ten years, including Taylor.” Michael replies “Well that’s a rough spot to be in man, but don’t let it get you down. Those guys are meaningless now. You’re the one with the hot date. Don’t concern yourself with what any of them think, it’s not like you’re gonna be stuck with them the whole night anyways. As soon as you get to the dance, you’ll be home free.” Jimmy ponders it for a second and responds “Okay, that was the first thing I wanted to bring up to you, and I gotta say, you’ve made me feel a lot better about the whole riding up to Prom with the jocks and cheerleaders thing, this second thing is a bit more sensitive of a subject.” Michael replies “Sensitive ay? I think I know where this might be heading.” Jimmy interrupts “Well we’ve been dating for a few months now. And it’s prom, the night where pretty much everyone hooks up with each other. I don’t know if she’s expecting us to or not, I’m just really nervous about the whole thing and have no idea what I should do.” Michael replies with a warm tone “Listen Jimmy, Ariel is probably feeling the same anxiety you’re feeling right now about this whole thing, so you’re not alone. I say, talk to her about it, see where her head is at with it, and I can promise you, the anxiety you’re both feeling right now will vanish as soon as you do.” Jimmy replies “That’s good advice man. You always seem to have the good advice. I appreciate it Michael.” Michael and Jimmy exchange a friendly handshake and Michael replies “Not a problem bro, the only reason I know is cuz I’ve been there.” At this moment, Pierre walks up with a pad and pencil and says “Alright, write down your cell phone numbers. No one ever picks up their home numbers when I call them in, so now, I need the cell numbers.” Michael and Jimmy are hesitant but eventually give Pierre their numbers. Right before they leave, Pierre says “Ah ah ah, not so fast.” Pierre pulls out a phone and starts dialing the numbers. Michael begins to look uneasy as Pierre says into the phone “Denny’s you say? No, I’m sorry, I have the wrong number.” Pierre glares at Michael who takes the pad back and puts his correct phone number down. Jimmy and Ariel are sitting at Jimmy’s house working on some homework when Jimmy breaks the silence with “So do I need to buy some condoms?” Ariel is at first shocked and then sends out a nervous laugh saying “what are you talking about?” Jimmy replies “Sorry for saying that so randomly, but I kinda feel like there’s been a big elephant in the room ever since we started planning for prom. I know it’s the hook up night of the year, and I guess I just didn’t know how you were feeling about it.” Ariel replies “Well how do you feel about it?” Jimmy replies “Well I really think in this case it comes down more to your feelings. “ Ariel pauses before replying “Well as crazy as it was how you brought it up, I’m glad you did. I’ve felt a lot of anxiety thinking about this, mostly because I haven’t slept with anyone before. I really care about you a lot Jimmy, I’m just not sure I want my first time to be rushed by some stupid cliché, I want it to be special. I hope you’re not disappointed.” Jimmy takes Ariel’s hand and says “I’m not disappointed at all Ariel, I would never want you to feel uncomfortable. I’ll level with you, it’ll be my first time too, so I don’t want it to feel rushed because of some stupid cliché either.” Ariel looks extremely surprised and says “Really, you’ve never been with another girl?” Jimmy replies in a sarcastic tone “Hard to believe, I know.” Ariel is still surprised and says “wow, that is hard to believe.” Michael is sitting in Professor Harper’s class taking the final exam. Professor Harper announces that the time is now up and everyone must hand in their papers. He collects the papers and thanks the class for the term and wishes everyone the best of luck before dismissing them. Michael hangs around and approaches Professor Harper, who asks Michael “So how is Ms. Reed doing? I got a call from her parents about the accident and how she wouldn’t be able to take the final until next week. I told them between you and me, it won’t be necessary. She’s got about as solid of an A as possible, and there’s no doubt in my mind she would have performed well on the final.” Michael replies “She’s doing much better, that’s really great of you to give her a pass on the final like that Professor.” Professor Harper replies “Well she was one of the best students I’ve ever had, along with you Mr. Bailey. I’m glad to hear she’s doing well.” Michael replies “Well there’s always next year sir. I hear you’ll be teaching a more advanced engineering class next year. I think I might be ready for it, seeing as how it will be my senior year.” Professor Harper smiles and replies “You better bring your A-game Mr. Bailey, because this class you just completed is a piece of cake compared to the advanced course, but I think you’ll do just fine in it, and I look forward to having you in my class again next year.” Michael extends his hand to Professor Harper and says “Thanks for everything this year Professor.” Professor Harper shakes Michael’s hand and says “And thanks to you as well Mr. Bailey. Now get out of here before the Lifetime channel comes in and decides to turn this into a made-for-TV movie.” Michael and Professor share a hearty laugh before Michael exits the classroom. Jimmy is waiting with Ariel’s mother as Ariel is just finishing up getting ready for the dance. She comes down the stairs and looks absolutely gorgeous. Her beautiful long blond hair is down for a change and she is wearing make-up for the first time. She also has replaced her glasses with contacts and has a stunning blue dress on. Jimmy is absolutely speechless as he mumbles “Ummm, oh boy, wow, just wow, Ariel, you look absolutely amazing.” Ariel begins to blush before saying “You’re just saying that cuz I’m your girlfriend and you have to.” Jimmy replies “Umm, not even in the slightest, seriously, I’m saying that because you look unbelievable, and I can’t believe you’re my girlfriend.” Jimmy grabs two dozen red roses that he picked up from Ariel and hands them to her and she replies by saying how beautiful they are. Jimmy then places her corsage on her wrist while Ariel pins the boutonnière on Jimmy’s tux. Ariel’s mother starts taking photos of the two just as the party bus pulls up. Taylor sticks his head up from the sunroof and yells “Come on dweebs, let’s get this party rolling.” Jimmy and Ariel see the bus outside and say goodbye to Ariel’s mother before leaving. As Jimmy and Ariel make their way towards the party bus, Taylor notices how amazing Ariel looks and his eyes grow wide with disbelief. He is in utter shock and slides back to his seat with a stupefied look on his face. As Jimmy and Ariel enter the limo, everyone inside becomes completely silent, in shock that Jimmy Cooper has such an attractive date. Jennifer breaks the silence by saying “you guys look absolutely amazing. Taylor, take a pic of me with Jimmy and Ariel.” Jennifer hands the camera over to Taylor who is still so absolutely baffled that he holds the camera up completely backwards, and when he takes the picture, the camera flashes brightly directly in his face and he is momentarily blinded while everyone else in the limo breaks out laughing at him. Michael and Ashley are sitting at the hospital watching tv together. Michael says “One more night, and we’re taking you home tomorrow Ash. Then we’ve got the whole summer to spend together, I seem to remember us having a pretty good track record with past summers.” Ashley smiles and replies “Hmmm, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I spent all my summers with this really strange kid down in North Carolina. He was super skinny, and kinda dorky, and he totally had a huge crush on me.” Michael interrupts “I totally know what you mean, I spent all my summers with this girl who was a bit of a tomboy, and she had these big braces for the majority of the summers that were just humongously huge.” Ashley playfully punches Michael on the shoulder, saying “Hey, don’t make fun of my braces mister. I used to get called Brace Face at school cuz of those.” Ashley begins pouting to which Michael replies “Alright, I’m sorry Ash, or should I say, Brace Face.” Ashley playfully punches Michael again but this time he avoids it and gives her a big kiss on the forehead instead. Ashley asks “So isn’t Jimmy’s prom tonight?” Michael replies “It most certainly is. I was over at his place helping him get all suited up before I came here. He’s looking mighty sharp I might add.” Ashley laughs before saying “Well now that I know you helped him pick out his clothes, I’m really concerned for him.” Michael is lying on the bed with Ash when he gets a text from an unknown number. The text says “Hey, it’s Jimmy, I’m using someone else’s phone cause mine is broken, I need a ride home, something really bad happened at the dance, and I can’t discuss it right now. Just come out here and pick me up please, I owe you one.” Michael relays the text to Ashley who quickly says “that poor kid, go help him out Michael.” Michael gathers his things to leave and says “I have no idea what could have went wrong there, but if he says he needs me, I gotta be there for him, I’ll be back as soon as I can Ash.” Michael gives Ashley a quick kiss before leaving. Jimmy and Ariel are having a great time together at the dance. Jimmy is dancing absolutely terribly for all the faster songs but Ariel is just laughing and having a great time with him. Jimmy and Ariel take a break and Ariel excuses herself to the rest room. At this moment, Jimmy spots Jennifer sitting all alone in the corner of the room. He goes up to her and asks “Hey Jen, everything ok?” Jennifer replies “Oh, hey Jimmy, umm, ya, everything is okay, I mean, about as okay as it is gonna be. Taylor is off in the gym with his other stupid football friends getting absolutely wasted, and I’m left here feeling like an idiot. I have no idea why I stay with him Jimmy. He really treats me like absolute garbage. He’s making me spend my senior prom all by myself. I just really can’t stand him anymore.” Jennifer starts crying on Jimmy’s shoulder as Jimmy tries to console her. Jimmy replies “Hey, it’s gonna be ok. You are absolutely amazing Jennifer, and if nothing else, take this moment as the one where you realize Jennifer Ward is too good for Taylor Rogers. You deserve a guy that is ten million times better than that kid. You’re out of his league. I promise you, there’s a guy out there who deserves you and will be able to treat you the way you deserve to be treated.” Jennifer is trying hard to stifle her tears as she asks “You really think so Jimmy?” Jimmy replies “I don’t think so, I know so.” At this moment, Michael walks in and finds Jimmy sitting with Jennifer. He quickly says to Jimmy “Where’s Ariel, did something happen to her?” Jimmy replies “Michael, no, nothing happened to her, what are you doing here man?” Michael replies “Dude, you texted me saying you needed me to be here. You said something bad happened and you needed me to come out here.” Jimmy replies “I think someone played a practical joke on you man, cuz I never texted you. I bet it was Pierre. I never wanted to give that guy our cell phone numbers in the first place.” Michael becomes instantly relieved and says “Geez man, I was worried sick. I’m gonna let Pierre have it next time I see him for pulling this. That guy is something else.” Ariel comes out of the bathroom just as a person up on stage announces that this will be the last dance and to make it a special one. Jimmy looks to Jennifer and asks “You feeling better Jen?” to which Jennifer replies “Definitely, you two go out and enjoy your last dance.” Jimmy nods and he and Ariel start slow dancing a few feet away from Jennifer and Michael. Michael looks at Jennifer and says “I know I’m a little bit too old for you, but I’ve never even been to my own prom, so what do you say to letting me relive the high school moments I never had and share this dance with me Jen?” Jennifer wipes away her tears and says “I accept that invitation gladly.” Michael and Jennifer begin slow dancing and Michael consoles her over her problems with Taylor. Michael tells her “The right guy is out there for you Jen, I totally believe that to be true.” Jennifer looks on at Jimmy and Ariel dancing and says “I think so too Michael, I think so too.” Ashley is sitting in her room when she hears a knock at the door. Thinking it was Michael, she says “Oh wow, you weren’t gone very long...” before turning around and staring face to face with her stalker Jake. A look of shock comes over Ashley’s face before Jake replies “Oh on the contrary, I’ve been gone for quite some time. Is it really all that hard for a person to respond to a text nowadays? I mean, your boyfriend got that text from who he thought was his friend just now and was out the door to help him out in no time. Why no love for an old friend Ashley? Don’t tell me you’re not happy to see me.” Ashley stares on in shock as the scene fades to black. 10:00 - Getting Some [Episode 1-07] NEW! My dad was then arrested in connection with the murder and sent to prison. My grandfather took me in and raised me as his own; I tried not to be rebellious as a team because I loved him and I don’t want to cause him any difficulty, plus I saw what rebellion does to you, I witness it first hand from my parents. A couple of days ago they diagnosed him with terminal cancer. He’s going to die and I couldn’t think of any reason I should continue life after him, and then at that very moment, I met you.” Tracey rests her head on his shoulder. They sit silently for a moment then Ben says, “I believe in fate, I believe in love, I believe in you and believe that what we’ve already started is going to be, is already, incredible.” As Beth walks home, people look at her, smirking and giggling. The doctors tell Beth she will be discharged that night. Dean says sorry one final time before heading on his way, when he’s outside the hospital he notices Simon running up behind him. Sarah stares at herself in the mirror Sarah: “I’m not going anywhere.” She then begins to shave her head. Simon goes to Beth’s place to get her some clean clothes, she stays in her hospital room alone until Alex walks in, he is badly beaten and has a look of evil in his eyes. Alex: “Beth your going to have to take my hand and come with me.” Beth: “Alex what are you doing here?” Alex: “I came for you.” Beth “I’m not going anywhere with you.” Alex: “Then we both die.” Beth hesitates and takes his hand and the exit together. MBN Weekly Schedule: Week of May 17, 2010
Monday, May 17 8:00 - Temps [Episode 1-01] REPEAT "Pilot" Welcome to GlomCo, a large company in a large city with some executives that have large egos. The weekly stories are told through the eyes of the temporary workers in the executive suites, whose salaries are not so large. The "temps" include Ivy, the been-there-seen-that veteran. Don't let her age and her "grandmotherly" appearance fool you, she is no nice, sweet granny. Angie is another seasoned vet, but she has much larger aspirations than simply faxing and copying; and she isn't afraid to use her natural beauty and "ass"ets to get ahead. Julie is the typical naive, wide-eyed newbie who looks more like a deer caught in the headlights. Ted (affectionately called "Teddy") is the lone male temp, but can be just as catty as the ladies...probably because he's gay (stereotype alert!). Ruling over the office with an iron, yet inept, fist is Ross the Boss, whom everyone wonders how he gets to keep his job. In the premiere episode, Ross's spoiled wife Rene is offended when she visits the office and sees Ross fawning all over Angie, whose attire is more suited to a night club than an office. Rene decides to fight fire with fire and attempts to seduce Teddy, and have Ross walk in on them, unaware that Teddy prefers men. Meanwhile, Julie attempts to track down who keeps stealing her lunches that she brings from home. Rene's plan backfires when Ross - who knows Teddy is gay - could not care less that he and Rene slept together. 8:30 - In the '80s [Episode 1-09] ***season finale*** NEW! "The Karate Kid" Pat still has a few months until he spends the summer with his parents so he decides to take up a new hobby. Karate. It turns out though that there is an age limit, but that doesn’t stop Pat. 9:00 - Educating Lewis [Episode 1-16] ***season finale*** NEW! "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Dollars" The Monday after prom, Mona and Lewis' behavior can best be described as awkward, along with knowing glances acknowledging their prom kiss. Both are shocked to see a picture of them kissing uploaded to the school's website. They quickly learn who the culprit is and are blindsided when he tells them he will take the picture down and delete it for $1,000. Otherwise, he'll e-mail it to every student in the school. Lewis' soft sell approach doesn't work, neither does Mona's threats. Backed up against the wall, Mona and Lewis decide to fight fire with fire and are able to get a video of the blackmailing student singing in the school shower after gym class and threaten to post it on the school's website unless the picture of them kissing is deleted forever. 9:30 - Temps [Episode 1-06] ***special time/season finale*** NEW! Operation Get Ross His Job Back is in full swing as the office attempts to get the new boss (guest star Fred Willard) fired. Angie and Ivy are in charge of getting GlomCo's CEO (guest star Kirstie Alley) back to the office, while Julie and Teddy plot to actually get the new boss fired. Teddy takes on for the team and sets to, clumsily, seduce the boss and have the CEO walk in at exactly the wrong time. The plan appears to be falling apart because the CEO is stuck in traffic, and Teddy doesn't intend on going thru with anything with the new boss and runs out of his office before any "hanky-panky" can occur. However, the new boss emerges from his office, clad only in boxers, with his pants around his ankles just as the CEO arrives, and she promptly fires him and rehires Ross (whom Julie has brought back to the office). Ross thanks the office and then tells them to "get back to work", but they ignore him. Ross comes out of his office and adds "please" to his order, but still the staff ignore him. Finally, he barks at them "I said get back to work...NOW!". Angie wonders if it is too late to get the old (new) boss back again. 10:00 - Falling With Style [Episode 1-22] ***special night & time*** REPEAT "Out of My Hands" Ashley is lying on a hospital bed hooked up to an IV with her eyes closed. Previously on DYNASTY…Jeff Colby escaped his kidnaper by knocking Regina unconscious and stealing her car…Daniel continues to be torn between Genny and Jamie…Lauren leaves for South Beach…Adam Carrington, wounded by Regina, flatlines. Possibly as a foreshadowing of what is to come, a lightening bolt strikes a tree on the Carrington estate and topples it. Jeff Colby is driving Regina’s car into Denver and is getting groggy, partly from the drugs that she had been giving him and also because the downpour is hindering his ability to see clearly. He attempts to make his way into the Carrington estate but crashes into the front gate. At the hospital, Senator Krystle Carrington (special guest star Linda Evans) is told that Krystina appears to be okay, physically, but will need months of physical therapy to get back to her old self. Krystle vows to be there for her daughter every step of the way, even if that means resigning as senator. Doctors work feverishly to save Adam Carrington, who had flatlined. They use the paddles on his chest and shock him back to life. Security at the Carrington estate alert Fallon that a car has crashed into the gates and upon investigation, they discover it is Jeff. He is immediately transported to the hospital with Fallon beside him. She calls B.J. and leaves a message for him concerning his father. B.J. and Sydney are laying in each others arms in the honeymoon suite at the LaMirage Hotel and when he realizes he has a message on his phone, Sydney talks him into ignoring it. At the hospital, doctors treat Jeff and bandage his wounds, which are not serious. It is only then that Fallon realizes that Adam is also at the hospital. He has been stabilized and the bullet removed. Adam is then taken to ICU. Fallon again tries to reach B.J., and tells Jeff that daughter Lauren has left for South Beach, but that she will call as soon as the plane lands. Daniel tells Genny that he is going to meet his father, but Genny is suspicious and follows him as he leaves their hotel room. In the honeymoon suite, Sydney is in the shower when B.J.’s phone rings again. This time he answers it and learns that his father has been found. He tells Sydney that he has to rush to the hospital and she tells him to go ahead and she will join him. At the hospital, the Denver police are questioning Jeff and he tells them how to get to the mountain cabin he was held hostage in. He and Fallon also go into ICU to see how Adam is, as Fallon is shocked to learn he has been shot. Genny follows Daniel to a warehouse, where Jamie’s art studio is, and sneaks in after him. She spies Daniel and Jamie kissing. Back at the hospital ICU, as Fallon and Jeff walk in to see Adam, he groggily looks up and asks “what is he doing here?” referring to Jeff. That question sparks a memory in Jeff, who remembers someone asking that question up at the cabin. Jeff blurts out “It was you!”. 10:00 - Dynasty [Episode 1-24] ***season finale*** NEW! "...and Consequences." At the hospital, Fallon doesn’t understand what has just happened. Jeff accuses Adam of being behind his kidnapping. When Fallon defends her brother from such a ludicrous accusation, Jeff says he remembers someone at the cabin saying the words “what is he doing here”, the exact same words that Adam said whenever Jeff and Fallon walked into Adam’s hospital room. “He was there…at the cabin” insists Jeff. “That son of a bitch was there!”. Alexis (special guest star Joan Collins) and Gov. Robertson (special guest star Fred Thompson) are enjoying each other’s company, both wearing bathrobes in their hotel suite. The governor pops a bottle of champagne and pours Alexis a glass. She offers a glass to the governor, but he informs her that it doesn’t go well with his heart medication. Alexis scoffs and says “a little champagne never hurt anyone. It’s time to celebrate.” The governor has just received a call that Krystle Carrington intends to send over her letter of resignation, so she can help her daughter recuperate from her auto accident. “Senator Alexis…that does have a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?” asks Alexis with a devilish laugh. Police arrive at the mountain cabin and find Regina laying on the ground crying. They arrest her and transport her back to Denver. B.J. arrives at the hospital and is surprised to see the circus atmosphere, with doctors escorting Fallon and Jeff out of Adam’s ICU room. Jeff is still insisting that Adam had something to do with his kidnapping. Fallon tries to calm him down and goes back into the ICU room alone. With only Fallon and Adam in the room, she asks Adam point blank if he had anything to do with the kidnapping. When he again denies it, she leans in close to him and threatens “if you tried to take Jeff, the most important thing in this world to me, away…I’m going to see that you lose your most valued possession too.” B.J. is excited to see his father, Jeff, again and hugs him, hurting Jeff’s bruised ribs from the car crash. They are joined by Fallon, who pulls B.J. aside and apologizes for her attitude towards Sydney. She reassures B.J. that she will “come to accept her in time…by the time the wedding rolls around, we’ll be bosom buddies, you just wait and see.” B.J. clears his throat but they are interrupted by Sydney, who walks in and announces that her and B.J. are already married. A doctor interrupts the conversation and tells Fallon that Adam is asking for her. At Jamie’s warehouse studio, Genny accidentally knocks over a lamp and shatters it, getting the attention of Jamie and Daniel who were locked in an embrace. Daniel sees her and runs after Genny. He apologizes for being with Jamie, but says that he loves him. Genny cannot believe that Daniel is cheating on her with another man. She wonders if he ever loved her. Daniel says he did and quickly corrects himself to say that he does love her and says that he will still make a wonderful father. Genny is disgusted and scowls at Daniel, saying “what makes you think you’re the father?” A bruised Regina is brought into the hospital and Jeff intercepts her, wanting to know what kind of scheme she and Adam had cooked up against him. When she denies everything, he tells her that she will rot in jail. Still in handcuffs, Regina leans in close and whispers to Jeff, “I don’t think so, not unless you want your child born in prison.” Just then, Fallon angrily exit’s the ICU. Jeff asks her what is wrong, but she brushes him off and makes a phone call as she hurriedly exit’s the hospital. Alexis and Gov. Robertson are laying in bed together half asleep when someone knocks on their door. It is a courier holding an envelope. He asks for the governor’s signature, which Alexis forges. When the courier questions Alexis, she points out that the governor is in bed and that everything is okay. The courier seems convinced by Alexis and accepts her story and leaves. Fallon enters the board room of Denver Carrington and sees the board of director assembled. “I’m glad you all came so soon.” The board asks what is the meaning of the emergency meeting, and Fallon tells them they are there to “fire Adam Carrington as CEO.” When asked who will replace Adam, Fallon stares coldly ahead and says “me!” At the hotel, Alexis tears into the package left by the courier and squeals with delight upon reading that Krystle has resigned as senator. She goes over to the bed to let the governor see for himself, but he is unresponsive. Alarmed, Alexis drops the resignation letter and feels for a pulse. Not finding one, she jumps on top of the governor and begins CPR. At that moment, a governor’s aide opens the door and sees a frantic Alexis perched on top of the governor, pounding on his chest. MBN Weekly Schedule: Week of May 24, 2010
Monday, May 24 8:00 - Temps [Episode 1-02] REPEAT "Bye, Bye, Birdie" GlomCo is going to the dogs…and cats, and weasels, and birds. 8:30 - Temps [Episode 1-03] REPEAT "Sick Day" GlomCo employees seem to come down with a serious illness...or does it. It all starts when Julie, the newbie of the group, calls in sick. Everything begins to snowball from there. With Julie out, the other temps have to pick up the slack. The next day, Julie is still out, but so is seasoned veteran Ivy (although she isn't really sick). With both Julie and Ivy gone, the work load of the other temps continues to pile up. Lo and behold, sexpot Angie calls in sick on the third day, joining Ivy and Julie. Now, all their work finds its way to Teddy's desk. After becoming aware that Ivy, and Angie are faking, Teddy decides to call in sick the next day. That morning, Ross the Boss comes in and finds his workplace deserted: everyone has called in sick. Ross puffs out his chest and declares that he doesn't need those "worthless" temps and sets out to run the office all by himself. That is, until the first phone call of the day paralyzes the office since Ross doesn't know how to answer it. 9:00 - Temps [Episode 1-04] REPEAT "Kiss and Don't Tell" Ross the Boss has a problem. GlomCo's "balls-busting" CEO (guest star Kirstie Alley) is visiting the office, but the she and Ross actually hooked up several months ago when he traveled out of town on business. The problem: Ross didn't know she was the CEO, and she holds a grudge. So, Ross talks Teddy into taking his place as "boss for the day" while the CEO visits. However, things don't go quite according to plan...thanks to Teddy, who takes the whole "boss for a day" routine a little too far and begins to humiliate Ross (who has taken over Teddy's "role"). While the office initially is supportive of Teddy's routine, they soon begin to see that the power has gone to his head. In a moment of frustration, Ross lets the cat out of the bag and admits that he is the boss, not Teddy. GlomCo's CEO, who had been trying to remember where she knew Ross from, puts two-and-two together and realizes Ross was her one-night stand. She immediately fires Ross, who must gather his belongings and leave. The office staff assemble to hum the "Funeral March" as Ross makes his long trek from his office to the elevator, as the door's close on his career at GlomCo. 9:30 - Temps [Episode 1-05] REPEAT "Reversal of Fortune" While taking a public bus to work, Teddy notices a man crying in the back and can help but think the guy looks like the recently fired Ross. 10:00 - MBN Special: The PIF Network Awards Live on MBN ***special presentation*** NEW! Brittany finds out, and dumps Robert. Collin thinks this is great news for him, but she decides not to pick him either. Brittany is now a single woman. 9:30 - Being Average [Episode 1-05] REPEAT "The Mystery" When half of the houses on the Average’s street are robbed, the neighbors start to point the figure at every person. However, when Lisa discovers some of the items in Brian and Jamie’s garage, all the evidence falls into place. What everyone doesn’t know, is that Mark is in fact the person who has been stealing the items. Of course it isn’t on purpose as its discovered that he had been sleep walking. All of the items are returned, and the Lisa tries to help solve Mark’s sleep walking. Also in the episode, David decides to search for a job. The family fortunes change when he is finally hired! The first few questions go fairly well, so they all decide to up ante, and bet $150 a question. Then, the next question goes to Collin, who must answer a question about Brittany. The question is: What is Brittany’s middle name? Not knowing the answer, Collin just laughs at the question. Brittany becomes upset about Collin’s answer and leaves the “party”. Meanwhile, it seems as if Kate and Robert have re-connected, but only on friend level. Collin leaves minutes after Brittany to try and make things better. He finds her, and explains himself not knowing the answer to her middle name. She accepts his apology, and they return to the trivia party. The trivia questions continue for the rest of the night, and go off without a hitch. 10:30 - Being Average [Episode 1-11] REPEAT "Father-Daughter Dance" It’s time for the father-daughter dance at school and David is excited that he can spend some quality time with Emily. After seeing Emily’s grades online, he tells her that she cannot hang out with her friends after the dance, or for the next week. Furious, Emily tells David she hates him and that he cannot come to the father-daughter dance with her. David becomes upset and thinks if his punishment was too hard. Lisa agrees with David’s punishment and says that Emily will eventually get over it. Emily then goes to the dance with her friends and the other fathers, and David thinks he should join her at the dance. David shows up the dance and Emily runs up to him apologizing immediately. She tells her dad that she really loves him and hopes he can forgive her. David accepts the apology under one condition; that she accepts the punishment.
